Wendy Morton

Counsellor / Psychotherapist / Health and Life Coach

Wendy’s warmth and authenticity make her clients immediately feel comfortable and at ease. She genuinely cares and takes the time to understand each individual deeply.

Wendy supports clients dealing with a wide range of issues, including grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. She has a particular passion for helping those affected by cancer — whether patients, family, or caregivers. This dedication stems from the personal challenges she and her family experienced while supporting her teenage daughter through her battle. It is a heartfelt mission for Wendy to turn this life lesson into meaningful support for others, providing emotional support, resilience-building, and practical guidance

Another passion of Wendy’s is supporting teens who are struggling. She works closely with teens and/or their parents to bring about understanding, emotional connection, growth, and positive change. Her experience working in the counselling department of an international school, coupled with being a mum, as well as additional training in this area, equip her with valuable insights here.

Wendy is also specially trained in CBIT therapy – Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention for Tics and has worked with children as young as 9 years old to help them manage and reduce their tic symptoms through tailored behavioural strategies.

Before her counselling career, Wendy spent over 30 years in the corporate space—initially working in London’s corporate world, where she spearheaded commercial and HR-based projects for MTV. She then ran her own international SME for the next 20 years, building it from grassroots to a multi-million dollar enterprise. This extensive experience makes Wendy a trusted and credible collaborator and mentor for anyone striving to succeed in the workplace. She has helped many clients facing challenges with workplace stress, resilience, and seeking professional growth.

Her professional background, combined with her personal journey as a mother navigating her daughter’s critical health challenges, enables her to connect deeply with clients in all stages of life and circumstances.

Having lived across the UK, Australia, and Singapore—which she has called home for the last 19 years—Wendy brings a deep understanding of cultural insights and personal resilience to her practice.

With a Master’s Degree in Counselling from Monash University and certification as a Functional Medicine Health Coach, Wendy tailors her approach for each client, using a mix of CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, Attachment, Person-Centred, and Positive Psychology.

A vital aspect of Wendy’s therapy is helping clients understand the factors that have led them to this point, as she believes that this understanding plays a crucial role in lasting growth. Using a scientific lens which speaks from logic, she adopts a practical and solution-focused approach to helping her clients.

Wendy is a firm believer that challenges can be transformed into opportunities for growth and is dedicated to empowering her clients with practical tools, resilience, and self-compassion, helping them move towards a more balanced, fulfilled life.

I reached out to Wendy for counselling only a few weeks after my father passed away, during what was an incredibly painful and overwhelming time. From the very first session, she created a safe, compassionate space where I felt truly heard and understood. Her professional yet deeply empathetic approach gave me comfort when I needed it most. Wendy not only helped me process my grief, but also offered thoughtful guidance and practical advice that made the days ahead feel more manageable. She has a way of balancing kindness with clear, constructive insight, which has been invaluable for my healing journey. I’m very grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking counselling, whether they are going through loss or facing other challenges
